Where do the tours start and end?

Our guided tours usually start at the Fish Fountain (Fischbrunnen) on Marienplatz. They end at a central location in Munich's old town, e.g. near the Opera.

Do you run your tours rain or shine?

We do! We go in all weathers and kindly ask you to please dress accordingly. However, should we really need to cancel a tour, we would inform you on time.

How big can our group be?

There can be up to 20 people in a group. On especially busy days, however, we recommend forming smaller groups and booking additional guides.

Are the tours suitable for persons with disabilities?

Our walking tours do involve longer distances, but we will try to always choose accessible ways or alternative routes, and we will focus on finding a pace that everyone in the group is comfortable with. For special questions regarding the accessibility of our tours, please contact us.

Can I bring a stroller / pushchair / pram?

Yes, of course. Streets in Munich are easily accessible, and our guides will always find ways to avoid stairs and steep hills. Please note that, for security reasons, strollers are not allowed on the Oktoberfest grounds daily after 6 p.m. and all day on Saturdays and public holidays.

Can I bring my dog / my cat / my guinea pig?

The answer is: it depends. Well-behaved pets are allowed on most of our tours. Please note that pets (with the exception of guide dogs) are not allowed inside churches and some public buildings and restaurants, so you might need to wait outside with your pet until the tour continues outside. Feel free to bring your guinea pig on tour. Just don’t tell anyone. Let’s keep that our little secret.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees depend on the time of cancellation and vary depending on the type of tour.
Cancellations or date changes must be made in writing by e-mail to before the tour and confirmed by us during our office hours. The date and time at which we receive your e-mail will apply.
